Clinical presentation of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) vs. Osteoarthritis (OA)

I am notice stiffness in the small joints of both of my hands every morning. It takes nearly an hour of moving around before my fingers feel loose enough to grip objects comfortably. Does this sound like simple wear-and-tear or an autoimmune condition?
